FIELD: equipment for separation of liquid mixtures in field of centrifugal forces. SUBSTANCE: proposed drive has housing inside which vertical shaft of separator drum and high-frequency electric motor are mounted on upper and lower bearing supports. Shaft of electric motor rotor is kinematically linked with shaft of drum. Lower part of this shaft is hollow and is provided with involute splines on inner wall. Splines are located at level of lower bearing support of shaft. Bush secured on shaft of electric motor rotor is provided with involute splines on its external surface. Coupling freely mounted in cavity of drum shaft has two rows of involute splines engageable with splines on internal wall of hollow shaft of drum and with splines on bush of electric motor rotor shaft for connection of these shafts.
