FIELD: methods of removal of coats from metal surfaces. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes high-frequency induction heating of boundary layer of metal surface directed towards coat or to binding film of coat, heating boundary layer of coat of binding film from boundary layer of metal surface due to heat conductivity to temperature at which cohesion of boundary layer or binding film with metal surface weakens or gets deteriorated and removal of coat. Induction heating is performed by high-frequency currents of ultrasonic range; removal of coat or binding film is performed by acting on surface by ultrasonic oscillations; induction and ultrasonic treatment are performed at one and the same frequency with the aid of one and the same high-frequency generator; working ultrasonic instrument is placed in immediate proximity of inductor setting it in motion together with inductor. Proposed method makes it possible to remove coat from thin metal parts, such as aluminum at high cleanness of metal surface. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 tbl, 1 ex
