FIELD: operation of aircraft and their power plants. SUBSTANCE: negative process of sedimentation in power plant is checked not only by indirect measurements (pressure and consumption of fuel in pre-injector space of power plant) but also by direct measurements of thickness of solid carbon sediment by means of special and/or combined sensors and monitoring systems in continuous and intermittent modes where working members of monitoring sensors may perform function of working members of new sediment control system which includes sediment prevention and removal systems which may operate in automatic semiautomatic and manual modes (by ground operator, pilot or cosmonaut)); information pertaining to sediment and negative aftereffects (lost of thrust, fire, explosion of power plant) is displayed on special information board in continuous and intermittent modes.
