FIELD: ground, air and spacecraft; power plants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of increasing reliability, efficiency, service life and safety of power plants employing expendable and recoverable engines operating on liquid hydrocarbon propellants and coolants. According to proposed method, zone of critical pressures is created and maintained in external regenerative cooling jacket. Zone of critical pressures is created and maintained in external separate cooling jacket. Different artificial heat transfer intensifiers in channels of external regenerative cooling jacket are considered.
EFFECT: increased service life, efficiency and reliability, safety and economy of perspective liquid-propellant engines and other expandable and recoverable power plants operating on liquid hydrocarbon propellants and coolants for ground, air, aerospace and spacecraft without adverse effect on environment.
