FIELD: air and space craft of military and civil application. SUBSTANCE: proposed method to increase luminous emittance of false heat target nozzle comes to afterburning of products of thermal decomposition of liquid hydrocarbon fuels in burning flame. Hard carbon deposit is formed on metal surface in volume of liquid hydrocarbon fuel. Afterburning of hard carbon deposit is done of the limits of false heat target nozzle consists of chamber with liquid hydrocarbon fuel accommodating rod with artificial roughness. Rod is heated to 500-900oC and is held under said conditions with subsequent displacement into zone of burning flow behind exit section of false heat target nozzle.
