FIELD: plasma technology, coat spraying, plasma welding. SUBSTANCE: spun gas and air flow goes out fro cathode unit and enters anode unit, to zone of arc lashing. Zone of arc lashing comes in the form of cone located between two cylindrical conduits, inlet and outlet. Insert with forming conduit which diameter is smaller than outlet conduit by factor of 1.2-6.0 enters outlet conduit. Technical result of invention consists in decrease of operating voltage to 100-120 V in arc at high flow rate of gas and air mixture ( to 9.0 cu m/h ) and strength of current to 120-200 A. Coats sprayed under supersonic mode in manual deposition are distinguished by high density displaying porosity under 1% with utilization factor up to 80%.
