FIELD: plasma technology.
SUBSTANCE: cathode of the plasma system is hollow with the conical end from the plasmatron nozzle. The input conduit for the sprayed material is made as the axial hole in the tube placed inside the hollow cathode. In planes passing via the hollow cathode axis, on the external tube surface and the internal surface of the cathode-holder, the conduit system connected with the combustible plasma-generating mixture input system is made. The plasmatron nozzle is ultrasound, cooled, partitioned with the electrically isolated sections. One of sections is made of conductive material and affixed to the plus of the high-voltage direct current source. At the distance from the anode section of the nozzle, not more than the inner diameter of the last nozzle section, the coil is installed. The inter-electrode insertion (IEI) is made of cooled sections. The ratio of sum of lengths of the arc channel placed in the IEI and nozzle, to the IEI arc channel diameter is within 4 to 250.
EFFECT: quality of coating, rate and temperature of sprayed particles, adhesion and durability of coating, efficiency of heating of sprayed particles and productivity are increased; expenditures and costs are reduced.
