FIELD: treatment of materials of nuclear fuel. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes supply of raw material consisting of mixture of components and conversion of it into plasma or ionized form. At least one component is kept in partially ionized form and at least one component is kept in partially non-ionized form. Then plasma or ions are held in magnetic field and ionized components are partially separated from non-ionized ones; supplied energy is not selectively distributed among components. Device proposed for realization of this method includes plasma/ions generator, unit for selective ionization of raw material consisting of mixture of components, unit for creating magnetic field for holding plasma/ions and unit for removal of non-ionized components from magnetic field. Plasma/ions generator and selective ionization unit are so constructed that supplied energy is not selectively distributed among components. EFFECT: increased yield due to equilibrium between ionized and nonionized components. 35 cl, 6 dwg
