FIELD: nuclear power engineering. SUBSTANCE: plant consists of contact system 1 formed by several columns 2 filled with packing 3 in form of rings with rounded external edges. Columns 2 are combined into cascade. The first column 2 is communicated with one or several electrolyzers 4. Outlet of aqueous solution of lithium compound of the first column 2 is communicated with inlet of vessel 8 of initial store of raw material. Outlet of vessel 8 is communicated with inlets of electrolyzers 4 communicated with evaporator 6 and condenser 7. The last column 2 of contact system 1 is communicated with column 5 filled with filler catalyzing decomposition of lithium amalgam. Supply of process is carried out by initial load of initial raw material into vessel 8 in amount exceeding withdrawn spent material from column 5. Associated lithium-6 isotope is accumulated in spent material. Cycle is completed with gaining in vessel 8 of required concentration of desired lithium-7 isotope. EFFECT: higher efficiency of method and plant, provided production of lithium-7 isotope of any degree of concentration with limited length of contact system. 4 cl, 9 dwg, 3 tbl
