FIELD: chemical and textile industries and medicine, applicable in carrying out oxidizing syntheses, production of bleaches and disinfecting means. SUBSTANCE: method includes production of hydrogen peroxide in oxidation reactor by oxidation of secondary alcohol, for instance, isopropyl alcohol at pressure of 1 MPa and temperature of 125-130C. Reaction mixture obtained after oxidation contains hydrogen peroxide, ketone, secondary alcohol, water and organic impurities. Said mixture is evaporated at pressure of 0.1-0.2 MPa and temperature of 85-95 C. Liquid phase after evaporation is directed for vacuum rectification. Invention provides for reduced losses of hydrogen peroxide, increased its yield by 1-1.2%, reduced energy consumption due to exclusion of reaction mixture heating stage prior to supply it to rectifying tower, simplified production process and increased safety of process.
