FIELD: railway transport; permanent way. SUBSTANCE: proposed fastening contains metal baseplate 1 with holes on end parts and flanges bent upwards in section in radius to form slots 4 along rail and provided with vertical sections 2 mating with under-rail part of baseplate for placing rail foot 3 in between, spring clamps 5 made of round bent rod installed with interference to fasten rail to baseplate so that one straight-line end of clamp is fitted in corresponding slot of baseplate, and other straight-line end of clamp is installed for engagement with upper surface of rail foot, and fasteners 8 holding baseplate to tie and located in holes of baseplate. Under-rail part of baseplate is located lower than its end parts providing transmission of transverse loads from rail foot to tie on lower level of its deepening to place of location of fasteners holding baseplate on tie at h0 ≈ h2 where h0 - is deepening of under-rail part of baseplate relative to its end parts and h2 is deepening of under-rail part of tire to part where fasteners are located. Flexible gasket 6 is placed between under-rail part of baseplate and foot of rail. Rigid insulating over-tie gasket 7 is placed under baseplate 1.
