FIELD: mechanical engineering; multistage turbomachines. SUBSTANCE: proposed devices designed for use in multistage centrifugal turbomachine containing stator system with great number of return channels for catching and directing flow of fluid medium getting out at high velocity from centrifugal wheel of turbomachine first stage for straightening, braking and delivering of said flow to inlet of other centrifugal wheel of other stage of said turbomachine. Each return channel is made in form of solid profiled individual tubular member. First solid return channel is provided with great number of evolute cross sections defined by corresponding parameters and square to middle line located in preset plane and containing axis of turbomachine. Said middle line contains first straight-line part, second curvilinear part in form of arc of circumference and third straight-line part. Different return channels are made identical, and they change one into the other at turning around axis of turbomachine. Invention makes it possible to provide optimum flow of fluid medium in device. EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of device, facilitated manufacture owing to decrease of mechanical stresses. 8 cl, 13 dwg
