FIELD: open optical communication systems and interferometers. SUBSTANCE: signal being received incorporates two coherent spatially aligned beams one being reference beam and other, information beam. Interference pattern shaped in matrix surface of photodetectors is the result of superposition of wavefronts of these beams. Photodetectors are divided into two groups spaced apart through distance corresponding to spatial period of interference pattern. Ratio of output signals of two photodetector groups is found during information processing and is proportional to output data signal. EFFECT: enhanced noise immunity of receiving system; simplified optical circuit arrangement. 1 cl, 2 dwg
