FIELD: agriculture, in particular, plant growing. SUBSTANCE: method involves basic soil cultivation in autumn and presowing soil cultivation in spring; treating seeds; sowing; pregerminating harrowing of soil and sprouts care including two procedures of treating with mixture of protective and stimulating complex comprising protective-stimulating preparation - Epin at the rate of 5 mg/hectare and potassium or ammonium iodide at the rate of 0.5 mol/hectare; combining first treatment procedure with treatment of sprouts with insecticides at plant height of 2-4 cm; providing second treatment procedure at the same rate combined with treatment of sprouts with herbicides; setting working fluid rate of 200-400 l/hectare at "herringbone" phase. Method allows resistance of fiber flax to unfavorable weather conditions to be increased and accumulation of preparation in plants to be eliminated. EFFECT: increased flax seed and straw yield, improved quality of product, increased efficiency and reduced consumption of preparation, improved safety for environment, and reduced expenses for purchase or production of preparation. 2 tbl
