FIELD: agriculture, in particular, plant growing. SUBSTANCE: method involves providing basic main soil cultivation in autumn and presowing soil cultivation in spring; treating seeds; sowing; providing pregerminating harrowing and sprouts care including two treatment procedures for treating of sprouts with salicylic acid at the rate of 0.1-1.0 mg/hectare, with first treatment procedure being carried out when plant height reaches 2-3 cm and second treatment procedure when plant height is 3-12 cm; setting working fluid consumption rate of 200-400 l/hectare. Method allows resistance of fiber flax to unfavorable weather conditions to be increased and accumulation of preparation in plant to be reduced. EFFECT: increased flax seed and straw yield, improved quality of product, increased efficiency and reduced consumption of preparation, improved safety of environment, and reduced expenses for purchase or production of preparation. 2 tbl
