FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying pulsating luminous radiation variable in frequency and amplitude corresponding to pulse. The action is applied to each eye laterally using luminous radiation blinking at 0.15-0.6 Hz frequency. The luminous radiation is modulated with pulsating signals of 2-12 Hz frequency having patient pulse way pattern at maximum amplitude value of 5-6 lx and succession period being 1.25 times as long as pulsating signal duration. The treatment is applied 2-4 times a day for 10-15 min daily during 10-14 days. The device has controllable functional transducer connected to light sources. The light sources are mounted in a housing designed as a half-mask manufactured from impermeable material. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of physiotherapy to repair brain operation and making psychophysical corrections in depression, stress, fatigue states. 16 cl, 8 dwg
