FIELD: axial-flow agitators. SUBSTANCE: proposed agitator includes hub with blades. Hub has central hole. Agitator has many corners and edges having rounded-off form for vitrification. Besides that, agitator includes at least two variable-pitch blades. Each blade has front and rear surfaces defined by inner edge having front and rear ends, outer edge having front and rear ends, front edge connecting the front end of inner edge with front end of outer edge and rear edge connecting the rear end of inner edge with rear end of outer edge. Outer edge of each blade is longer than inner edge by 1.5 to 2.5 times. Blades are symmetrically connected to hub over their inner edges in such way that their inner edges are positioned at angle of 45 to 60 deg. relative to central axis of hub and their outer edges are positioned at angle of 50 to 70 deg. relative to the same axis of hub. Angle of inner edges to central axis of hub is lesser than angle of outer edges to central axis by 6 to 12 deg. Hub and blades are continuously coated with glass. Proposed agitator forms larger flow as compared with turbine-type agitators provided with wings or inclined blades. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 20 cl, 7 dwg
