FIELD: plasma working procedures, namely manual and powered welding, cutting, surfacing materials in machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: burner for plasma working includes housing 1 in which main nozzle 2 having additional changeable nozzle 7 and electrode holder 3 with electrode 6 are mounted. Additional changeable nozzle has at outer side annular turning 10 which is connected with ducts 9 concentrically arranged around central opening. It allows to create shield-gas flux embracing plasma torch and stabilizing directed flow of plasma between nozzle unit and surface of welded material in order to improve three-dimensional stability. Burner has additional changeable nozzles of different design for producing necessary flux of shield gas for forming plasma torch. EFFECT: enhanced stabilization of plasma torch, high quality of welded joint, increased useful life period, improved operational reliability of burner. 3 cl, 4 dwg
