FIELD: welding; all branches of industry. SUBSTANCE: insulating casing of plasmotron has channels and recesses. The latter are provided with jumpers. Since jumpers are coupled to internal surface of plasmotron insulating member, they press it out from recesses of insulating casing through the entire length of cavities providing the cooling circuit cavities with constant area of flow section and improving the centering of plasmotron nozzle and electrode relative to each other. Hole is made in jumper recess for uniform distribution of cooling liquid flowing from insulating casing hole through slot, along recess provided with jumper. Width of slot exceeds that of jumper. Improvement of nozzle thermal conditions and centering of plasmotron constructional members relative to each other extends service life of electrode and nozzle.
