FIELD: combination type mechanisms with complex motion of outlet links used for performing additional operations at maintaining machines, machine tools, presses and other equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes combination type mechanism having transfer mechanism with driving, intermediate and outlet links and actuating mechanism with driving and outlet links; drive unit. Outlet links of actuating mechanism are provided with jaws for gripping articles. Driving link of transfer mechanism is in the form of gear wheel; its outlet link is in the form of toothed rack. Intermediate link has two set of pinions; one pinion of each set engages with driving link, other pinion engages with outlet link. Outlet link of transfer mechanism is driving link of actuating mechanism with outlet links of which it is jointly connected. Combination mechanism includes stationary contour follower with lengthwise shaped grooves engaging with outlet links of actuating mechanism. Rollers are mounted on free ends of outlet links of actuating mechanism; said rollers are designed for engaging with lengthwise shaped grooves of stationary contour follower. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency, simplified design, improved operational accuracy of apparatus. 10 cl, 2 dwg
