SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisms with compound movement of output links used at supporting the operation of process machines, shopfloor machines, presses. A multiunit mechanism comprises a transmission gear with a driving link in the form of a toothed wheel and an output link in the form of a toothed rack, an actuator with a driving link being the output link of the transmission gear, as well as output links with jaws for item gripping and a solid cam with longitudinal profiled slots for the interaction with the output links of the actuator. The driving toothed wheel of the transmission gear is characterised by the deficient number of teeth, and the output link of the transmission gear is fitted by a load-bearing resilient member for idle running.

EFFECT: invention provides for mechanism design simplification, improved operation accuracy and efficiency, reduced energy inputs for the process of item transfer.
