FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices with compound movement of output links used at supporting the operation of process machines, shopfloor machines, presses. A handler comprises a transmission gear with a driving link, an intermediate link and an output link, an actuator with a driving link in the form of a toothed rack, output links with the last of the latter being fitted by jaws for item gripping, and a solid cam with profiled slots for the interaction with the output links of the actuator, and a drive. The intermediate link of the transmission gear is made as a connecting rod and a disk coupled kinematically, the connecting rod is pivotally coupled to the driving link, and the disk axis is fitted by a toothed wheel conjugated with the driving link of the actuator.

EFFECT: invention provides for the simplification of kinematic chain of a device, improvement of the efficiency and accuracy of operations' performance in the process of item transfer.
