FIELD: various processes, treatment of plastics, devices for connection of preliminarily molded parts with heating, with the use of a heated tool, in the given case electroheated devices for welding of thermoplastic pipes, in particular, hand-operated pipe welder, as well as their repair with the use of preliminarily molded members, then connected together with the aid of a hand-operated pipe welder. SUBSTANCE: the hand-operated pipe welder has a heat-conducting body, heater with a heating resistor fasten to the body with a good thermal contact, set of replaceable heat inlets, electric circuit and an electric insulating handle with a feeding cable. The pipe heat inlet is made for pushing-in of the replaceable heat inlet in it for a pipe of a smaller diameter, and the sleeve heat inlet- for pushing-on of the replaceable heat inlet for a sleeve of a larger inside diameter. Both replaceable heat inlets are made for their integration with the heat inlet surfaces of the pipe and sleeve heat inlets. The replaceable pipe heat inlets are made of material with a coefficient of linear expansion higher than that of the body. The heat-conducting body is made with a flat groove in the middle part, which accommodates the heater with a posistor used as a heating resistor. EFFECT: reduced consumption of power, specific quantity of metal per structure, simplified construction and a wide application. 3 cl, 3 dwg
