FIELD: transport engineering; recoverable space systems at ground or water launch. SUBSTANCE: proposed system makes it possible to attain altitudes of 11 to 25 km at speed of from 1100 to 2500 km/h. System is provided with power plant including rotor-cylinder or gas-turbine engines which may work on any propellant burnt at temperature of 2000 to 3000 C and higher at pressure of up to 100 atm. Upper stages of space system are used for injection of people and payloads into low-altitude and medium-altitude near-earth orbits. Water-launch system is more simple and its cost is lower as compared with ground-launch system. But these systems are supplemented in single complex. High-speed transport system may accelerate launch stages over multi-rail track to 1000 km/h. It may be also used for transportation of cargoes and passengers at speed of 300 to 600 km/h. EFFECT: extended functional capabilities. 20 cl, 10 dwg
