CHARGE TO PRODUCE THE LONG-LIVED AFTERGLOW LUMINOPHOR ON THE BASE OF ZINC SULFIDE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2217466 C2

FIELD: electronic industry, varnish-and-paint industry and production of means for presentation of information. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic, paint-and-varnish and a printing industries and may be used for production of means for presentation of information. The charge contains (mass %): nitrate of sodium or potassium, or ammonium, or strontium either nitrite of sodium - 0.500-5.000; zinc chloride - 0.300-0.500; ammonium chloride - 0.500- 2.000; barium chloride - 4.000-6.000; copper chloride - 0.006-0.008; thiourea - 0.500-1.500; zinc sulfide - the rest. The charge is carefully mixed, put into a quartz crucible, covered with a lid and incinerated at the temperature of 1000-1300 C for 3 hours. After cooling it is flooded with solution of ammonia, washed off using distilled water, dried, sifted. Brightness of afterglow is equal to 129-156 standard units, output - 68-77 mass %, that exceeds brightness and output of luminance and an exit of the luminophor produced from the known charge. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 tbl, 5 ex
