FIELD: systems for measuring volumetric gas flowrate. SUBSTANCE: rotameter includes cylindrical dielectric tube with float in the form of cap inside it and measuring capacitor of capacitive transducer. Cap is put on cone rod in such a way that its bottom is turned upwards; base of cone rod is mounted in lower portion of dielectric tube. Float is made of electrically conducting material; each plate of measuring capacitor that is placed on outer surface of dielectric tube is in the form of pair of mutually connected trapeziums. EFFECT: simplified process of making rotameter, enhanced accuracy and enlarge range of measurement. 5 dwg
