SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to histology and pathological anatomy. Disclosed is a method of preparing histologic preparations for detecting intracellular lipid inclusions in human and animal tissues, involving sampling the analyzed tissue, fixing tissue samples in 10 % formalin solution, detachment from fixator, dehydration, preparation of histological sections, application of sections on slides with subsequent coloring of sections in solution of Sudan stain black "B". Tissues of the test tissue compacted in the fixator are cut into strips with thickness of not more than 2 mm, dehydrated in three portions of acetone at temperature of 0–4 °C for 20 minutes in each portion, then, from the last portion of acetone, the fabric strips are transferred into molten paraffin containing 5 % beeswax, with subsequent production of paraffin blocks, preparation of histological sections and their application on slides, then dewaxing slices on glass in O-xylene and decreasing concentration alcohol, then sections are stained with solution of Sudan stain black "B" in ethylene glycol in concentration of 15.3 mmol/l, then sections are transferred into 85 % aqueous solution of ethylene glycol and held for 2–3 minutes.

EFFECT: invention provides simplification and cheapening of the known method, as well as high quality of histological preparations.
