SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in making energy-saving lamps and efficient LED emitters. The optical matching device consists of an optical matching element, an emitting semiconductor LED and an intermediate layer in between, wherein the optical matching element is made of optically transparent material whose refraction index is equal to the refraction index of the emitting semiconductor LED, wherein the intermediate layer is tunnelling-transparent, with a modulus of elasticity lower than that of the semiconductor LED and the optical matching element.
EFFECT: invention improves radiation efficiency and preserves the operating life of the LED owing to a low value of the modulus of elasticity of the material of the intermediate layer which is tunnelling-transparent, and which enables to reduce mechanical stress between the material of the LED and the optical matching element.
