FIELD: medical equipment, in particular, diagnostic X-ray apparatuses, designed for general roentgenography. SUBSTANCE: the digital diagnostic X-ray apparatus has an X-radiator with a feeding device of the radio-frequency type and a receiver of X-ray image in the form of a flat panel with a silicon photodiode matrix, electrically connected via an operational amplifier and an analog-to-digital converter to a computer equipped with a videomonitor. Fastened on the outside of the input window of the flat panel, in one of its lower corners, is a square-shaped limiting frame of material with a high atomic number, whose window determines the dimensions of the tested section of the flat panel. Positioned inside the frame is an ionization chamber of the through type connected to a power source, amplifier and an indicator, and the computer is supplemented with a microprocessor providing for a check switching-on of the apparatus in strictly preset power and exposition modes in a definite time interval, and an electronic system of radiation sensitivity monitoring, including an analyzer of the level of average electric signal of brightness of digital image in the section under test, memory location of the standard brightness signal, and a comparator of the brightness levels of the standard and current signals of image brightness on the section under test.
