FIELD: X-ray equipment. SUBSTANCE: X-ray slot collimator is designed to limit beam of X-ray radiation emitted by X-ray radiator and to form narrow fan-shaped radiation beam in X-ray diagnostic apparatuses of scanning type, for example, in digital fluorograph. X-ray slot collimator has two plane-parallel plates made of material with high atomic number fixed mutually parallel with little gap forming slot channel of collimator, it is supplemented with optical electron system incorporating optically matched laser, two rectangular prisms and mirror reflector. Laser and first prism are placed on outside of one plane-parallel plate and are closed by X-ray protection enclosure and second prism and mirror reflector fabricated from material poorly absorbing X-rays are located in holes arranged between plane-parallel plates and overlap slot channel of collimator. Mirror reflector is rectangular polyhedron with side reflecting faces and is linked with its base to axis of electric motor passing perpendicular to slot channel of collimator. Blind produced from light-tight material transparent for X-rays is positioned across outlet of slot channel.
