FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: sleeve-like expansion bolt is made in form of two-component bolt manufactured of two materials differing in hardness. It has expansion area expanding elements arranged in longitudinal direction which expand when driving the screw into expansion hole. Expanding elements of expansion bolt are provided with expanding pins in longitudinal direction consisting of more hard material and arranged on outer peripheral surface of expansion bolt. Expanding pins are connected over periphery by more soft material. Expansion hole is made in more soft material forming over periphery a closed expansion hole. Said expansion bolt features high torsional rigidity and it directs screw longitudinal when turning it into expansion bolt. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 11 dwg
