FIELD: machine engineering, tools for finishing gear wheels. SUBSTANCE: apparatus is in the form of disc with working toothed rim having thinned teeth coated with abrasive layer and mean portion rigidly secured to boss. In order to enlarge manufacturing possibilities due to axial shifting of toothed grinding hone, mean portion of disc is elastic one and it has cutouts on its periphery and elastic spokes. Working toothed rim is made of elastic springy band and it is joined to elastic spokes by means of its recesses. Disc may be designed for mounting on spindle with possibility of autonomous rotation in rolling bearing assembly by acute angle relative to plane normal to spindle rotation axis with use of sleeve having axis of opening and axis of outer surface mutually inclined by acute angle whose value is determined according to expression given in description of invention.
