FIELD: combined technological processes on base of metal cutting procedures, manufacture of gear wheels.
SUBSTANCE: tool includes boss joined by means of elastic member with toothed rim divided by portions inclined by acute angle relative to plane normal to tool axis. Said portions are in the form of discs having diamond-abrasive coating on lateral faces of teeth. Between said discs impregnated toothed discs of copper-graphite alloy whose height is no less than height half of diamond-abrasive toothed discs are mounted. At end faces of tool diamond-abrasive toothed discs are arranged. Discs are mounted with possibility of changing their position relative to tool axis and relative to adjacent disc. Tool is provided with lead for supplying electric current of safe low voltage to diamond-abrasive toothed discs and to worked gear wheel for electric-contact honing. In description of invention formula is given for determining inclination angle of discs mounted on boss.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of honing gear wheels of materials having trend for occurring flaws such as burnings and cracking.
