FIELD: inorganic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the improved method of hydrometallurgy processing solid uranium-containing waste of sublimate production. Waste is treated with concentrated sulfuric acid followed by addition of water and hydrogen peroxide. Mixture is subjected for depulping at temperature 78-85 C. Uranium is extracted from the formed solution, ammonium uranyl tricarbonate is precipitated and calcined to uranium oxide. Invention provides stabilization of indices and enhancement of safety of uranium leaching process from waste of sublimate production in hydrometallurgy processing, reduced uranium content in insoluble residue and enhanced output.
