SUBSTANCE: method involves imparting three-dimensional relief formed from alternating raised and depressed parts to paper during pulsed drying process; directing wet paper web 10 through at least one zone of press gap 12, said zone including rotating heated roll 13; imparting said profile to paper web by means of relief net 11 and/or three-dimensional pattern formed on heated roll 13; before introducing into press gap 12, providing regulated basic weight to wet paper web 10. EFFECT: provision for optimal absorption properties, improved bulky and soft structure, and increased elasticity of resultant paper. 18 cl, 4 dwg
