FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisms converting rotary motion into reciprocating motion and back. Proposed planetary mechanism contains housing 1 with central gear wheel 2 with internal gear meshing with planet pinion 3 whose reference diameter d is equal to half of reference diameter D of central gear wheel 2, shaft 4 of planet pinion 3 installed in carrier 5 interacting with housing 1 whose axis of rotation L coincides with longitudinal axis of symmetry of central gear wheel 2. Carrier 5 is formed by two parts 7 and 8 located opposite to end face surfaces α and β of central gear wheel 2 and interacting with housing 1 through main antifriction bearing units 9. both parts 7 and 8 of carrier 5 are rigidly intercoupled through one compensator 27. crank 6 is coupled with planet pinion 3 by connecting with possibility of changing interaxes distance F between crank and shaft 4 of planet pinion 3, i.e. between their axes of rotation M and N on mounting member 16 of adjuster 17 which is secured by its support member 18 on one of ends of shaft 4 of planet pinion 3. invention makes it possible to improve reliability and increase service life of planetary mechanism, decrease its inner unbalance to minimum value and increase efficiency and enlarge operating capabilities owing to design possibility of changing crank displacement vector.
