FIELD: communication systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is intended for power-control data transfer to base station controller in base-station transceiving system of mobile code-division multiple access communication system. Base-station transceiver system receives data on mode of forward link power control pointing to slow acting power control from base station controller and conveys data on mode of forward link power control to mobile station. Then base-station transceiver system separates from pilot signal backward channel quality indicating bit which is, essentially, power control command at frame interval from mobile station according to data on mode of forward link power control and defines status of quality indicating bit. Base-station transceiver system transfers to base-station controller information about changing threshold for power control requested from base-station controller over forward allocated control channel considering definite status of quality indicating bit. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of power control in forward/backward allocated control channel at transmit/receive interval. 15 cl, 20 dwg
