FIELD: food-processing, ceramic, wood-working and glass industries; geological survey. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes non-magnetic thin-walled tube with magnetic system arranged inside it; magnetic system is axially movable relative to said tube. Magnetic system consists of permanent magnets and ferromagnetic rings fitted on stud made from non-magnetic material in such way that adjacent magnets are separated by ferromagnetic ring to which they adjoin by similar poles. Permanent magnets and ferromagnetic rings are fastened together forming integral unit. Two ferromagnetic rings fitted between adjacent permanent magnets are free to move relative to each other along axis of stud through distance preset by coupling-adjusting unit. EFFECT: reliable selectivity in extraction of magnetic admixtures and identification of these admixtures by their magnetic properties. 6 cl, 2 dwg
