MACHINE FOR OXYGEN CUTTING OF TUBES Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: apparatuses for gas-flame working, namely machine for oxygen cutting of tubes, possibly at making main pipelines and factory pipelines. SUBSTANCE: machine has truck with two pairs of driving wheels, drive unit with handles, cutter with fastening mechanism, flexible metallic belt, mechanism for tensioning belt, braking device and quickly detachable readjusted chain. Belt tensioning mechanism includes two-arm levers supporting jockey rollers and tightening members, screw of tensioning mechanism with spring. Braking device is mounted on driving wheels and it includes friction discs, pressure levers with pins and pushers with spring. Quickly detachable readjusted chain has rollers with axles, links with openings for roller axles and with hinged hooks, connection links with openings for roller axles and members for fixing links to said axles. It is possible to mount machine on small-diameter tubes for cutting them. EFFECT: enlarged using range of machine, enhanced quality of cut surface. 2 cl, 4 dwg
