FIELD: aluminum production. SUBSTANCE: process of control over feed of aluminum oxide into electrolytic cells to win aluminum is based on measurement of resistance between electrodes of cell which value is recorded in fixed time intervals. Resistance between electrodes is measured, values of resistance are recorded in fixed time intervals, concentration of aluminum oxide in electrolytic cell is evaluated and aluminum oxide is fed into cell in inadequate or excessive amount at fixed rate to prevent undesirable anode effect, undesirable high concentration of oxide, to detect unbalance between energy supply and decomposition of oxide fed into bath from outside and to look after state of cell. Time moment T is chosen on basis of number of resistance values recorded right before and after time moment T, lines E and Y, angle β included between lines E and Y are computed and angular coefficients are found for evaluation of concentration. On basis of several computed values one or several curves are constructed, value of amplitude for curve of angles β is recorded and recorded values of resistance and obtained curves are compared with time moments of beginning of excessive or insufficient feed. EFFECT: raised efficiency of process. 6 cl, 5 dwg
