FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy, possibly control of electrolytic processes of aluminum production from alumina.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of determining time moment of changing dissolution rate of alumina in bath and performing correction due to creating optimal condition for dissolution of alumina at controlling states of energy and material balance in cell. According to invention algorithm for controlling aluminum cell operation is based upon statistic methods for controlling processes and performing correction with use of nine-dimension matrix. Algorithm used in well known methods does not provide adaptation to changed quality of raw material, to alumina dissolution rate and to parameters of manufacturing modes.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cell due to creation of optimal condition for dissolution of alumina, improved procedure for controlling cells.
