FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves processing formed prepared complex thread in processing vessel by providing joining of single filaments in migration stage by slight interweaving of single filaments; performing uniform distribution of preparation on single filament surface, when preparation composition is supplied; using mixing effect for providing of optimal distribution of preparation composition applied in migration stage or earlier on complex thread and, respectively, on single filaments; directing blowing medium in thread advancement direction and introducing at an angle with angular deviation from perpendicular to thread advancement direction of at least 15 deg but less than 45 deg into complex thread channel. Apparatus is made in the form of migration device having migration nozzle equipped with channel oriented in complex thread advancement direction and adapted for supplying of pressure medium into complex thread channel, said channel being directed with angular deviation from perpendicular to direction of thread advancement of at least 15 deg but less than 45 deg into complex thread channel. EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing slight interweaving of single filaments owing to optimal mixing action, uniform distribution of preparation composition and, accordingly, reduced consumption of preparation composition. 14 cl, 26 dwg
