FIELD: manufacture of automobiles; ball-and-socket joints for automobile suspensions. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes application of lubricant on spherical head of ball pin and mounting of insert; pin with insert is inserted in cup-shaped part of body. Then, cup-shaped parts of body are detachably connected and thermoset filler is introduced in space between insert and body. Preliminarily, layer of thermoset adhesive compound is applied on inner surface of cup-shaped parts of body. EFFECT: avoidance of seizure and knocking in ball-and-socket joints. 2 cl, 1 dwg
