FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as supports of sliding in friction assemblies, capable of keeping its operability in wide range of loads and temperatures as in air, and in high vacuum. Ball bearing comprises housing made of two parts rigidly interconnected with enclosed in casing ball pin with spherical head located in the insert of antifriction material. Space between insert and housing is filled with thermoplastic filler. On spherical head by spark deposition is tungsten carbide and applying layer of silver by electrolytic deposition, the insert is made from molybdenite.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance and operability of ball bearing due to increased maximum values of pressure and more uniform distribution of contact pressure due to changing the structure of materials of ball pin and insert.
