GAS CLEANING FILTER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: cleaning gases flowing under pressure in pipe lines from mechanical admixtures, dust and water-and- oil aerosols; gas, oil and chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed filter consists of two half-housings with flanges for separation in horizontal plane; housing is provided with coaxial branch pipes for delivery of contaminated has and discharge of purified gas; filter element of proposed filter is mounted in its upper portion. Novelty of invention is availability of chamber provided with guide bushes at upper end and branch pipe at lower end; said chamber is communicated with cavity of discharge branch pipe. Several filter elements are fitted in guide bushes. When upper half-housing is dismantled easy access is given for inspection, cleaning and replacement of filter elements.
