FIELD: agriculture, in particular, protection of seeds from soil moisture upon multiple snow melting and soil freezing. SUBSTANCE: method involves protecting each seed with enclosure made of material with water-repellent properties; placing in each enclosure carrier highly populated with microorganisms habitable in soil of each sown field, with microorganisms being subjected to selection during accumulation of biomass; introducing into carrier growth medium microorganisms similar to seed enclosure material. Upon heating of soil to stable temperature above 0 C, microorganisms destruct enclosure. EFFECT: increased efficiency in creating favorable conditions for seed germination.
