FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, equipment used in vacuum cleaners and adapted for connecting of suction head with hose. SUBSTANCE: lengthening tube has lower lengthening tubular part for sucking of dust laden air through sucking head mounted at one end, upper lengthening tubular part whose one end is connected to handle extending to vacuum cleaner casing for allowing passage of dust-laden air sucked through lower lengthening tubular part, connecting member joined to other ends of lower and upper lengthening tubular parts and adapted for facilitating bending of lower and upper lengthening tubular parts with respect to one another by predetermined angle, and device for fixing of connecting member to provide for selective bending and unbending of connecting part. Connecting member has rotating connecting part arranged between lower and upper lengthening tubular parts and provided with rotating part connected with receptacle part through insert. Connecting part has closing members for closing it on its outer side and for keeping connection between receptacle part and part to be inserted. According to one embodiment of invention, pair of round plates are provided for closing of receptacle and insertable part sides and for keeping of connection therebetween. Such construction allows surfaces under furniture to be cleaned without necessity for holding by user of lengthening tube in horizontal position and for bending of user in inconvenient position.
