FIELD: processes of making strips of stainless steel with use of cold rolling of strip previously made by casting and(or) by hot rolling. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of cold rolling in technological line of rolling mill having in leading zone of said line at least two mills used for initial cold rolling and arranged successively; at least one annealing furnace and at least one section for etching, both arranged after said mills for initial cold rolling; at least one more cold rolling mill arranged in final zone of technological line. Modes of rolling and heat treatment, procedures for single or double passing of strip through technological line are normalized.
