FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed seal of wheel hub bearing unit contains main cup interference-fitted in hub rotating on journals on two bevel roller bearings. Said cup provides sealing of unit by working edges and spring along fixed ring from inner side of hub, and it contains from outer side lockwasher, tab washer and bearing nut. Additional seal is installed in hub from outer side of bearing unit. Said additional seal contains cup with spring, nut of bearings with cylindrical surface for cup, spacer ring and rubber plug fitted in slot of journal. Additional seal is furnished with cup demounting elements. EFFECT: improved reliability of hub seal. 4 dwg
