FIELD: resin industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical processing of lignocellulose materials and can be used for manufacturing surfactants based on ligno-carbohydrate vegetable material. Xanthogenation comprises treatment of starting air-dry material first with sodium hydroxide and then with carbon disulfide at 25 C followed by mechanical disintegration at 25 C without addition of water. Lignocellulose material contains 35-60% cellulose, 20-40% lignin, and 13-55% hemicelluloses. 5 g of lignocellulose material requires 1.4-7.0 g of sodium hydroxide and 2.5-10.0 g of carbon disulfide. EFFECT: achieved complete utilization of ligno-carbohydrate material and wasteless implementation of process. 2 tbl, 15 ex
